Meet The Founder

Born and raised in Palos Verdes, Emmy combined her Southern California roots with her entrepreneurial spirit to create Sophisticated Spreads. A graduate of USC (Fight On!) with a degree in Business, she turned her lifelong love of food—and especially cheese—into a full-fledged passion. Having judged at the World Cheese Awards in the U.K. and built relationships with some of the best producers around the world, she sources only exceptional cheeses for her boards. What began at family holiday parties has evolved into a creative business where her eye for design, first honed while working at a local flower shop, shines through every spread she creates.
